  • As a sex coach, I educate and guide individuals and couples to help them improve their sexual lives through information, conversation and skills-based support. We can work on a large variety of concerns and interests, such as low/no libido, erectile unpredictability, and interest in tantra/bdsm. If it pertains to your sex life, you can generally bring it to a coaching session if you’re ready to make a change.

Unlike a therapist or psychologist, a sex coach does not diagnose or treat clinical conditions, cannot prescribe medication, or give medical advice.

I am happy to help you find the right practitioners for sex or body concerns that are out of my scope of service during our sessions, if needed.

  • Coaching is talk-only, fully clothed, and rooted in consent.

In a typical session, you’ll fill me in on what you’d like to focus on during our time together. Our sessions are co-created, which means they will look different for each person depending on their history and dedication to the work, their learning styles, and more. We will work out if information, exercises or grounding is needed first, and go from there.

We want to find actionable steps that you will actually do, that feel accessible, and ideally, that you’ll enjoy and feel empowered doing.

  • Everyone is different, but typically 3-6 sessions will get deep into the foundations of most desires or concerns. We can do a lot in 3 sessions!

Expect that some people will need more than this, depending on what we are working on.

  • Yes, sex coaching is a professional field with established training programs and ethical guidelines. My ethics align with the below organizations I am part of.

I am board certified by the American Board of Sexology (ABS), a member of the World Association of Sexual Health (WAS), and am a member of the Association of Somatic and Integrative Sexologists (ASIS). ASIS requires continued supervision hours and continuing education, and has a review board in a similar way that therapists have, so we remain accountable to our clients and profession.

You should always check the credentials of who you are interested in working with. Coaching in general can be unregulated and therefore you can’t assume everyone is approaching the field ethically and with adequate education.

  • I work with couples of all genders and sexual orientations, monogamous or ethically non-monogamous.

Many people come to coaching individually at first, and invite a partner to join them later. Others choose to have solo sessions alongside their partnered ones.

Solo sessions allow us to clarify your specific needs and desires and work on skills building. Couples sessions tend to focus on the couples dynamic, communication, and determining or developing your shared vision for your future sex life.

If you are seeing me solo AND as a couple, please be aware I have a NO SECRETS policy. For more information, please ask in our consultation call.

  • Sex coaches are about skills-building, communication, education, and integration. We don’t use medicalized language, the DSM-5, or diagnose any clinical conditions.

Sex therapists and psychologists are licensed professionals who can diagnose and treat clinical conditions. They are skilled at going deeper in your past, handle trauma, and we may refer you to one if your concerns are out of the scope of a coach.

Coaching and therapy are complimentary professions, many of our clients see both of us for different reasons, at different points in our journey. I am happy to consult with your therapist if you have one, if you’d like a more holistic approach to your care.

  • I do take written notes in our sessions, but I do not attach any names to them so that my clients information remains confidential. I assign numbers for your privacy.

I do not use AI to transcribe your sessions, or record them.

I use Acuity Scheduling, which is HIPAA/PHIPA-compliant.

  • Payments are through Acuity Scheduling, and you can pay with Credit Card, Paypal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.

Sessions must be paid in full, in advance.

  • If you have felt the benefits of coaching with me and want to donate part or all of a session(s) to someone without the ability to pay, you can donate on the Coaching page by purchasing a session or sessions and email me with your intentions to donate them.

This is your opportunity to help me help others, if you are called to do so. There is never any pressure and I will never ask you to donate.

When free sessions become available, I will contact people on the waitlist for these sessions, and/or share on our social media.
